I'm Marissa Berenson Yaar, the voice behind The Well-Appointed Catwalk. I'm a fiend for design in all its forms - fashion, architecture, interior, industrial. Alas, I can barely draw a straight line, so I write instead.
In my real life, I am a communications specialist and freelance writer based, born and bred in Boston. While I cover everything from style to technology in my professional life, this is the space I can dedicate to my passions. In other words, you'll find in these pages anything and everything that floats my boat when it comes to design.

Making money from The Well-Appointed Catwalk is a perk, not my purpose. I will only accept advertisements, sponsored posts and sponsored giveaways from brands that I feel are a natural fit with The Well-Appointed Catwalk, and I will ALWAYS clearly define sponsored content as such. (Trust me: The commissions I make are too small to be worth compromising my integrity.)
I do not claim photography as my own, unless otherwise noted, and publish images under the terms of fair use. I always attribute content to its original source, and if you choose to republish images/ideas found here, I only ask that you do the same.
