Because sometimes design is so absurd, so out there, that there's nothing to say but WTF?!

Don't worry about fitting our chairs on the tiny porch, babe! We can drink our pour overs on this pile of dead leaves.

I love the blog
Tiny House Swoon. I really do, because there is indeed beauty in less. But, sometimes, there are also moments of complete ridiculousness. Moments like this one, when the builders of a tiny "
Heirloom Home" in Oregon seemingly hire hipster models to pose for a photo shoot because no one could actually live like this!
So, keeping in mind that it's all in good fun, let's take a look at this itty-bitty house and the madly-in-love wood nymphs who supposedly inhabit it.

We can totally share a desk because we're so in love. I'll hand write post-modern novels in unlined notebooks, and you'll paint watercolor unicorns to sell in your Etsy store. Wait, you're not a leftie are you?

We don't have room for a couch or TV, so it's a good thing we have a subscription to Kinfolk and this view of leaves to keep us occupied! |
All of our clothes fit in this single rucksuck. There's no obvious means of climbing up to get it, but we like to live dangerously! |
Actually, we haven't accessed that ruckscuk in months. We've just been sharing these four cardigans, which we wash once a week. No dryer, though, because we're saving the planet. We hang our laundry to dry outside in the notoriously arid Oregonian air! |
I like it when my spatula matches my apron when I'm pretending to cook. In reality, though, we just gather roots and berries from the forest because we don't have anywhere to store food. Why am I reaching into the oven, then? Oh, that's where I keep my orange lipsticks and Korean 10-step skin care system... |
...because there's no room for those in the bathroom. It is nice to be able to wash your hands without getting up from the toilet, though. |
We never need an alarm clock because we wake up with the sun, thanks to the skylight just inches above our heads. Oh, wait—we're in Oregon! We have no sun. Hahaha! The bumps on our heads are totally worth it, though. Hahaha! |
Especially when we sing each other love songs in our tiny bedroom on our tiny ukulele with a cup of green tea I only spilled half of while climbing up the ladder. |
Pure tiny home bliss! |
