Spring 2015 Couture Week has come to an end, and what a week it was. Shaking of the confines of commercial viability, designers save their most imaginative (and often outlandish) creations for these biannual couture shows. And the most dramatic look, of course, is usually saved for last.

Okay, there are a couple of snorers in there (I'm looking at you, Bouchra Jarrar), but most of the final looks brought all the drama we've come to expect from couture shows. The one that took my breath away, though, came not at the end, but midway through, Valentino's presentation...
