How to choose a favorite among the weekend's shows in Milan?
Jil Sander was a perfect exercise in minimalism,
Dolce & Gabbana a perfect exercise in quite the opposite.
Bottega Veneta held on to its place in my heart as a forever favorite, while
Fausto Puglisi wriggled its way in anew.
But
Fendi had the details down. Futuristic, modernistic, Lego-reminiscent accessories in muted sorbet hues, with models made up to match.
Apologies for the blister closeup, but the shoe is worth it.
That shoe is so worth the blister close up! Fendi was outstanding!
ReplyDeleteThe bags are my favorite- especially that peach clutch in the middle!
ReplyDeleteNot usually big on Fendi but I absolutely LOVED this collection. Specifically because of the incredible attention to detail!

agreed! i hadn't bought a fendi baguette in easily a decade, but this collection is making me crave fendi bags again!!!
ReplyDeleteThose details are uh-maze. And also oddly remind me of those little candy dots that come on paper. You know what I mean? Clearly, I'm just a little bit hungry...
ReplyDeleteA shoe like that is absolutely worth the blister! Gorgeous details. I'm even feeling the avant-garde eyeliner - especially with the matching sunnies!
ReplyDeleteDon't you love that? I think the liner was my favorite part!
ReplyDeleteOh that eyeliner is like magical. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
ReplyDeleteAnd damn! I did not even notice the blister until you mentioned it, obviously distracted by shiny things.
