My beloved Patriots may have broken my heart, but at least Sunday left me with some Jason Wu to dry my tears. That's right: I joined the other crazies at my local brick and mortar Target store, threw some elbows around and walked away with a pretty decent haul of Wu's diffusion line for the chain.
By the time I arrived at 8:04 (four minutes after Target's doors opened), the racks had already been stripped of all totes, clutches and scarfs. So, it was straight to the clothing where I grabbed anything I could find in my size. Racks were restocked at regular intervals with whatever had been discarded in the fitting rooms, and I was not above joining the pack of fashion-hungry vultures in circling and descending upon the new loot and the hapless Target employees who carried it.
Of my wish-list items, I missed out on the Milu scarf and tote, along with that darling navy poplin dress. I also ambled about for 20 minutes with my fingers crossed while a woman decided whether or not she wanted the black flared dress in my size. (She did, and I skulked away pathetically.)
But I did manage to leave with the items above, and I even got something for you! The Milu t-shirt that I'm giving away is a size XS but will easily fit a S. Even if it's not your size, the shirt is listed for upwards of $40 on ebay, so you can always cash in.
