With all the hype surrounding Fashion Week in New York (and then London, Paris and Milan), local talent sometimes falls by the wayside. But I could never forget Sam Mendoza, a Boston designer who is so lovable and talented that I'm tempted to steal him from the New Brahmin ladies as my gay husband.

Along with director Alicia Lane, Sam put together DAMN, girl as a short film interpretation of his Fall 2011 collection. The clothes are stunning, the scenery is breathtaking... but it's the random, amazing mix of music that ties it all together. Enjoy!
