Who are you Gianmarco Lorenzi, and why must you assault us with these monstrosities?
Until now, I've saved WTF?! Moments for some truly creepy products (e.g. baby lamps and roadkill bottles). But I just don't know how to describe these shoes by Gianmarco Lorenzi other than with a big WTF?!
If you feel differently (and you are certainly entitled to your opinion), these are all available at farfetch.com. Not surprisingly, many of them are on sale, but those red rhinestone platforms will still run you $2031.
2031 for the red rhinestone shoes? I don't want to be the one to say it but these look like shoes that ladies of the night would wear.....
ReplyDeleteOh look, it's classed up stripper shoes for the rest of us. How nice of him to design these. Now you can spend a whole paycheck looking like a hooker! New year, great new things!! Hope Santa brought you a pair of these.
ReplyDeleteOh come on!!!! Who would buy these except for some billionaire hooker (do they exist?) or cross dresser (definitely exist).
ReplyDeleteThey kind of make me cry because he gets THOSE made in production and I'll never be able to design a pair of shoes. boo hoo
Thanks for a good laugh though! :-D

ReplyDeleteThey can't make girls dream about those shoes.. (shame on Gianmarco L)...
Have a fabulous 2011 my darling.

Oh my they're all pretty disgusting but what about the denim boots - OMG uber-hideous!!! Thanks Marissa, for showing us what we don't need in 2011:) Happy New Year! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHilarious post!
ReplyDeleteI have nominated you for an award. Stop by my blog to see the details!
xx

My eyes... are... bleadiiiiiiiiing!!!
ReplyDeleteWow. These are just bad. These look like shoes only a stripper or a drag queen with bad taste would wear. At least we can laugh at them.

The saddest part is that you can go to Rave (yes, this store still exists) and buy similar stripper shoes for $20.31, not $2,031. You'll have money left over for sequined hotpants!
ReplyDeleteEEEEEEEEK with a capital E!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that's equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.
ReplyDeleteThe issue is something that not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I'm very happy I found this in my search for something regarding this.
