Studio Marisol has created these looks for "Crazy Hair," a workshop to be held in collaboration with Spanish design group CuldeSac in August.
Organized by C.I.R.E.C.A., the Vitra Design Museum and the Centre Georges Pompidou, the workshop will take an industrial design spin. But all I can think of is how perfect the looks would have been for a McQueen show.
I agree entirely about the symbiotic relationship those looks could have had with a McQueen collection. It would have meshed perfectly. Also, I wish I had enough hair in real life to do a mini-version of the first look! Alas, my hair is too short and fine to pull of anything close - I could not not even pull off a 'Heidi-esque' braid crown!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel too bad: I didn't make this clear, but those are actually headpieces made out of human hair (most likely more than one human), not the models' own hair.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely - I would be surprised at the person who had enough hair for any of that! I just am barely getting all of mine in a ponytail, so the thought of all that 'hair' is making me wistful!
ReplyDeleteMy hair looks like that on a bad hair day... hee hee.
ReplyDeleteI just gave you an award...
