With the upcoming release of Sex and the City 2, The Times U.K. has put together a list of the top "25 movies that shook the world of fashion." The original Sex and the City is absent, but there are plenty of others that I'll be adding to my Netflix queue.
I can certainly vouch for some of the picks: I've already written of my praise for A Single Man, and West Side Story, Bonnie and Clyde, and Grey Gardens are classics of sartorial inspiration. I also appreciate that the writers do not take themselves too seriously to include Zoolander. I hate to admit, though, that there are a few on the list that I'm completely unfamiliar with.
