Apparently the title of Christopher Chiappa's exhibit, "High Fructose Corn Syrup," has something to do with his transition from childhood to adolescence and Coke's switch from sugar to high-fructose corn syrup.
Yeah, I don't get it either. But while I do a half-assed job of avoiding all things corn/grain/otherwise yummy during Passover, I'll let Chiappa's High Fructose Corn Syrup stools tide me over.
The stools are part of a two-part exhibit of Chiappa's work going on now through April 10th at the Moss and Kate Werble galleries in New York. The Moss gallery is housing the stools (18 of them), made mostly of hand-carved Styrofoam coated in resin and painted in enamel.
About the Prada shoes: There is something old about them even though I'm sure they are new. I would say thumbs down too! Maybe if the shoe was more updated.
